Westcoast Structural Provides Concrete and Masonry Services for Veterans Memorial

Westcoast Structural Concrete & Masonry recently donated time and materials to complete concrete work for a new Vietnam Veterans Memorial located at the foot of the Fort Myers side of the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

The memorial features granite panels engraved with the names of Southwest Florida soldiers who lost their lives in the Vietnam War; and letters written by soldiers during the war.

Westcoast Structural Concrete & Masonry completed the concrete slab and three concrete walls where the granite panels were installed.

The project was spearheaded by Vietnam veteran Craig Tonjes and the Lee County Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 594 and features the engraving work of Sanibel Island artist Lucas Century.
