Westcoast Structural Donates $1,000 to American Heart Association

Westcoast Structural Concrete & Masonry recently made a $1,000 donation to benefit the American Heart Association Lee County American Heart Walk. 


The Heart Walk took place Dec. 8 at Centennial Park in Fort Myers and raised a total of $321,748, which will go towards funding research, community service and public and professional education programs to fight heart disease and stroke. 

“It’s always a great feeling to give back to the community,” said Jimmy Rodgers, president of West Coast Structural Concrete & Masonry. “The American Heart Association helps many people throughout Southwest Florida, and we’re proud to be a part of that.” 

The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases, which kill more than 910,000 Americans each year, to learn more about the American Heart Association visit www.americanheart.org. 

Formed in 1998, Fort Myers-based Westcoast Structural Concrete & Masonry is a concrete and masonry subcontractor, specializing in commercial construction. The company, which has 80 employees, offers several methods of concrete and masonry construction including concrete block and tilt wall. The contractor offers turn-key construction services including layout, structural concrete forming through tie beam, flatwork placement and finishing.
